This is what a happy family looks like—sure, a happy family of oddballs but a happy family nonetheless. A family of Tapirs: side tables and coffee tables and who knows what else down the road. Or maybe you already see the little dude as more like a squat stool than a side table, the taller fella as a fetching plant stand, the big guy as the perfect criss-cross-applesauce, living-room-takeout-on-the-floor impromptu dining table. What started as a simple exercise in developing a new, chunky table leg from the foot shape of our Penguin side table (or, if you prefer, the horn shape of our Buffalo Rack) has evolved into this: a collection of three-toed, squat, anything goes solid wood workhorses. All four are finished with our standard hand-rubbed hardwax and oil blend: lovely, durable and non-toxic. And like everything DoubleButter, all are built to last a lifetime.
